when building up the engine of the car what kind of cam do you use and do you guys use flat top pistons or the dish top ones and what about the cylinder heads what can you do to them and still be class 11 legal and can you use the dual port heads or just the single port
The cam will depend on what it is you want your motor to do, where you want it to make power, and how it is built(compression ratio,air intake etc.) You can run either single or dual port heads. Only thing you can really do to the heads is flycut them for compression. No porting or polishing allowed.
Flat cam Gears, HD Oil pump, Total Seal Piston Rings, Forged Pistons, chromoly retainer for valve springs, swivel feet valve adjusters, High performance Lifter set, Lightened Flywheel, etc.
All those parts are Class 11 legal and will make your engine competitive.
