Better read the rule book, headlights are required only for night races. If you want to replace lights and fenders every race go ahead.

High compression motors, every aspect of the driveline uprated, and custom rule-bending side mount shocks, and you're worried about windows and mirrors?

Personally, I think the class should be completely open, but original stock as-supplied numbers-matching tires are required. And the rear apron, obvi.

I am looking getting the rules changed to state "NO SNUGGIES TO BE WORN IN PIT AREA OR IN A RACE CAR".

If you keep all the stock parts on when you race they eventually will either fall of or will not stay on without a good amount of effort. So should I prep my car to finish or to look stock?

Also whoever posted pics of their car on here that had the front shock tower supported by the cage that's a new one and pushing it too far. If that was legal we all would have done it long ago.

Gotdirty, that was me. The rulebook states that terminal points of the cage are open. And, I have written documentation from savage that it is, in fact, legal. My sincerest apologies for being innovative and creative.

Can you explain how this type of outside-the-box thinking is ANY different from the ridiculous (and expensive) idea of side-mounted shocks?

I like the sarcasm. Good luck. The rule book is clearly allowing the longer shock and it is not a new idea. My car will run with any other 11 car out there and I run actual 18" Bilsteins.

While working on the VW, I noticed that the ignition (Where Key Goes) is in spanish . . . Everything else seems to be in english, but I wasn't sure how to tell if it is officially a US Beetle . . . We have it registered in Texas, the glass has DOT on it, radio controls are in english, buttons for seat belts are in english (assuming the just didn't say "Press" in other countries as well . . . How can we be certain? Does it matter? SCORE book says US Sedans Only . . .
