I'm converting a 68 auto stick which doesn't have a clutch cable tube. If I were to use a metal break line tube or a VW accelerator cable tube would those options be fine? I'm assuming just as long as the cable is in a tube welded in and not lust hangin out in there i'll be okay?

you should be OK...if you use 3/8" steel brake line tubing...........make sure that the clutch cable bowden tube will fit over the end of the tube.....

You don't even have to put it in the tunnel, just run it under the drivers seat to the back of the car.
